Museo de los Niños

Rainbow field trip

When we got to the Museo de los Niños we were all exited. The place outside was nice and wide, we saw some dinosaurs getting out the walls as if they were running. While we were waiting at the entrance of the museum something called our attention and it was a board made of sticks where we had the chance to leave our handprints, it really felt good.  When we got in, we experienced many things. We also learnt a lot about Leonardo da Vinci who was an Italian polymath whose areas of interest included invention, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. We discovered that he has been called the father of palaeontology, ichnology, and architecture, and is widely considered one of the greatest painters of all time. The guide told us that he was credited with the inventions of the parachute, helicopter, tank among others. Then we jumped into the energy stage where we learnt about the different renewable energy sources. We also saw some inventions, craters of dinosaurs, pictures, paintings, a skull and the human body and we learned through playing with it. Finally, we learnt the process of planting a seed, and we planted a little lettuce.

After that we had some relaxing time while we were eating our snacks. Touring around this place was again a GREAT experience for us and we are sure we would like to go again to this place because it was a trip that blown our minds away to investigate more and more for our project. In the end, we called it The Amazing World of Science.
